A*200mm F/4 macro

Hello guys and gals, I picked up a used A*-200mm macro lens which is missing the a pin contact parts except for the contact and spring. If anybody has a part number breakdown of this lens or actual photos of the parts, this would help me greatly. I know this is a long shot, but for this lens working properly any information would be helpful.

I'd try PMing these five forum members, although they may not all still be active.

You are very lucky finding one of these. I think it should be high on the list for Pentax to re-make.

You could also try this chap on the PentaxUK forum
Pentax A* 200mm Macro

Then there is this article about someone needing their A*200 repaired and sending it to Pentax (no go) and then to Eric .

Thank you for the information, I have not PM them yet but will try later today. The technician that is working on this lens is trying to locate parts across Canada, if none can be found he might have to make some parts! Wish me luck

I have an A*200/4 macro and would be happy to take some pictures of it to try and help out. I'm at work at the moment, but I'll post some later this afternoon/evening when I get home.

You might try picking up a used teleconverter with A contacts, gutting it, and using its contacts in your lens.

Here's a picture. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for or not. Let me know if you need a picture of something else on the lens.

Thank you everybody for your quick reply`s. I just got word from Vancam in Vancouver that the lens is repaired for 150 bucks. When I get the lens back i will have to check it out and see if it is working properly, I will keep you all in touch.
