Got turned off with Tamron lenses when I got a 28-75/2.8 which, a year later experienced fungus problems
A friend of mine also purchased a 28-75/2.8 and has TWICE had to have it cleaned because of fungus (second cleaning came a little over a year after the first!). There are a couple of used Tamron lenses being sold in a local website but (surprise, surprise), both are already showing fungus growth. I am convinced that tamron scrimped on lens coatings and rubber bushings which make their lenses susceptible to fungus growth in humid places like here.
My Voigt 58/1.4 SLII had six moisture spots inside which were there for over a year until I decided to have the lens throroughly cleaned. Well, the technician told me that these moisture dots are what start to turn to fungus. Luckily for the Voigt, it's lens coatings are excellent, and the moisture dots never got to form into fungus
Anyway, you can't compare the color rendition of a Voigt to a Tamron
