Hi Folks..
Does anyone have any opinions on this lens?

Sigma | 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DC Macro Lens for Pentax | 581109 | B&H

Can only pass on (for what its worth) a comment from a camera store i buy from. They sell Pentax gear on order, stocking Canon and Nikon, to satisfy their pro clientele.
They had the Sigma 18-50 EX f2.8 in stock in a Canon mount and were so impressed with it they were inviting people to come in and try it. These boys are fussy so it is a high reccomendation.

18-50mm f/2.8 EX is not bad choice.
Sigma do their best when the design this lens

But it seems a bit soft at border when use more than 20 mm focal lenght.
if only use this len take photo for people, it is a good choice.
it is sharp when you use f /4 or lower apture

Why not choice a lens from DA 40 FA 35 or FA 43?
