How do you feel about FA35mm f2

Just wondering who has it and how do you feel about it, because I want a normal lens for my K10D and looks like 35mm -> 52.5mm will be a good fit and it is not too expensive. ( don't really have $ for the FA limited lens...)

It's one of the best Pentax lenses, I would say.
Sharp and very high contrast.
A must-have, the poor man's 31 Limited.

I've not heard of anyone who does not enjoy the FA 35/2. Here is a shot from Christmas morning I posted a couple of weeks ago.

There is one a ebay (Italy) for about 420 US$.... is it worth?

Matsuiyastore has them new for about US$345 but you have to factor in shipping, duty, taxes, etc.

the fa 35 is a super lens. great sharpness even wide open and with hight contrast. nevertheless i have sold it again, because of the fov isn't wide enough for me.

Wonderful, I will get myself one then. Just that I find my FA50 become 75mm in my K10D is kinda too far.

After playing around with my FA50 quite a bit ... i am after something just that bit wider myself as well. And the FA35 looks to just as nice a lens for this.

both on DSLR (K100D/K10D) and even better on film (*ist) :-)
Will never get rid of it because of it's superb value (so few $ versus image quality/usability)
