Took mine on the K-3 for a spring ski tour yesterday. It got warmer than expected and the snow got a little sketchy in places but we managed to find some good safe skiing.

My ski partner for the day, Zack

I'm a bit envious - not had a single day of skiing this season... glad to see the mountains are still out there somewhere.

All I've got to take photos of are tulip fields and sheep

More skiing today. Fun to be skiing but the snow wasn't that good. Still beats work.

Protecting our trees

So if you supply a tree with sun, water and protection from grazing cattle, it should thrive, right?

The lens is weakest at the long end, but can still be acceptably sharp. The extra reach over other walkaround lenses is very handy.

This is a lace monitor, in Mitchell River NP, East Gippsland. (Cross-posted from the reptiles thread.)

Windy day at a different beach. The ice has only been off Candle Lake for about two weeks and no one to be found wind surfing. I'm assuming the lake is too cold for even a dry suit to make it bearable.

The dog was the main focus on the second shot, correct?
