My wife is the decorator, my job is to hand out candy. We live on a short connector in an aging neighbourhood, in the end I only greeted 9 trick or treaters tonight.

I went down this road a week before in good light (couldn't stop) and thought I'd come back and catch the light and autumn colour.[COLOR="Silver"]

Walkerville, Victoria.

I didn't have my tripod with me, but just for fun I thought I'd try some longer exposures handheld, and see whether any were usable. To my surprise, this one was, at 1/3rd second - testament to the SR (certainly not my steadiness).

Thanks. The color version is in my Flickr feed also for comparison. His hair is snow white but the shirt was a distracting blue.

I love the portrait too, UV. Portraits are a bit under-represented in this thread considering how well the lens does them.

But back to landscapes ...! Valencia Creek in the drier parts of the Gippsland hills. (X-posted)

This crow was enviously watching us eating a Thanksgiving dinner in Prescott, Arizona!
