I used the free Microsoft Image Composite editor (ICE) incredibly easy to use.
My experience is mixed. I usually get good results but often have some glitches with ice.

Not my go to lens for flowers, but sometimes ...

The flower custodian is away for two weeks, so I will be held responsible for any lack of watering, which led me to document current conditions. Normally, I use the Tamron SP 90mm to get as close as I want, with beautiful bokeh, but I need a variety of shots to prove I'm doing my job, so this lens was my choice this morning.

Looking at this shot - it appeared brighter before. I may have to juice it a tad. I'm not sure what is different as I am looking at it on the same monitor - can only assume something in the Flickr upload or display here.

It looks thirsty for juice.

Oddly it had rained recently and again before we left.
The low country has been in near drought but I don't think our mountains have. I'll check.

That looks like a difficult scarf joint. This is a museum piece I'd imagine.

That's what I thought at first - how to make each piece have exactly the right angle? It's easy. Clamp a new piece to the old one and saw through them both. The angles match well enough to glue as long as the saw cut is straight.
