Rain? What's that? We could sure use some, it's dry as a bone out here. Nice shot, reminds me of Spring in Texas.

Paul, I'm always mixed-up with "conejos" and "cojones" ... I think "conejo" means a rabbit, right ? While the other word, you know ...

You would be correct, sir! ...and yes, there are plenty of "coneys" (as they say in Tolkien-ish) scurrying about the area

Wow, threatening weather. I have a biologist friend here who was born in Coevorden, near the German Border, and he told me how humid "Nederland" can be. Thank you for the examples.

Regards
Yep, when I took the Schildmeer image, there was the occasional lightning as well. Funny, I grew up in Erica, about 15 kilometers from Coevorden.

On a linguistic side-note, conejos looks a lot like our konijnen (Dutch for rabbits). You can have some of our water allright. We're slushing in the fields...

My Dutch friend (whose German parents fled Germany before the Second World War, his family name is "Klein") told me about the sea captain who founded "VANCOUVER", British Columbia, Canada. He said the sailor originated "from Coevorden - van Coevorden", took the name "Vancouver" because it sounded more English and gave his name to the new city. So, "Vancouver" is a Dutch name in reality. Little World, eh !

I went out tonight with my pup and took a couple test shots before it got dark. So far I'm liking this new lens a lot. They may show a bit dark. Forgot that I had the camera EV set to -0.5 down....

Here's my late evening image, focussed manually wich is actually very unpleasant when you're used to focussing manual (takumar, K- and M-series) lenses.
