I have spent ages shooting with limiteds in single in challenges (the latest being the 20-40mm limited) and sometimes you need a break from the pressure of a photo per day. What better to use than the 18-135 on the K3. It is such an easy lens to live with and it holds up very nicely.

Wow. Just wow. That has to be one amazing (and unforgiving) place.
Thanks HoutHans

It is quite out of the way and and mission to get there with permits and guides , but always worth it

Yes, is it still a Sperrgebiet, and why, if I may ask? I guess it made some sense when the mines were there, but the place looks pretty barren and empty right now.

A couple of images taken with the 18-135 during a walk on the Waddensea, a mudflat tidal area to the north of the Netherlands. Given that we were sloshing over very slippery silt and clay, the 18-135 WR was the only viable option.

From a recent trip to Thekkady Reservoir, inside Periyar Tiger Reserve, in Kerala.

The Black animals on the top of the hill, in the third photo is a group of Bison. Really wished I had a longer lense to get a better picture of them.
