This is my favorite walk around lens and is on my camera probably 80% of the time. It has great versatility and the WR definitely comes in handy especially this winter!

Pictures taken with my Pentax 15-135mm on a recent trip.

I only have the lens for a few weeks and it is very handy to have around.

Last weekend I got to watch my granddaughter play rugby again. It was another rainy day, so I had to use the 18-35, since it's the only WR lens I have. It was only light rain this time, but the K-5 II appears to do just fine. Just need more reach. I am waiting to purchase something in the 200 to 300mm lens range.
Anyway, here are a few photos taken with the 18-135

Wow...based on the uniforms, I can hardly tell one team from the other!

Easily fixed in post, especially with dxo optics pro.

Lightroom 5 does a good job too.

Hmmm.... I'm just not seeing it. Can you identify a pic and the part of it where the CA is "quite noticeable"?
I haven't had much of an issue with CA on my 18-135, and even if I did, as others have noted, that's pretty easy to fix.

X 2, I agree. Happy with my 18-135 WR.

The two attached.

I understand it is quite easy to remove in Lightroom, I myself mostly shoot RAW, but I want to purchase this for my lens for my girl friend, who literally just started photography, and of course she is going to shoot jpg. Correct me if I am wrong, is correcting CA just as easy with jpg vs raw?

Ok, I see the CA on the light pole and in the trees. And the green shift along the women's outlines. (Though the CA certainly isn't consistent across the frame or among all the pics.) Further, at 135mm w/ this lens, I get better results shooting at f8-f11 rather than the f5.6 used.

In any case, yes, in Lightroom 4 which I use, it's a matter of moving a slider to get rid of CA on JPEGs.

Photos on a recent trip to NYC, the 18-135 is still a great walk around lens!
