Some weekend ski photos. Beautiful weather to be out but I'd like to see some more snow (not in the immediate forecast).

Murder in progress!

Matt, love the scenery - live action subject matter is so nice too ( I never get to shoot real people...)

Today before coming home for dinner, I stretched my legs by walking across the ice covered creek nearby and stole a frame from a PoV that is not normally accessible.

Seems this lens has been glued on my camera for the last little while. Convenient while shooting a short tele prime on film to have the wide and the tele packed into one piece of glass.

Weather this year isnt quite as prone to forming "ice caves" on Lake Erie's shores, but the lake is still pretty well froze up. There were plenty of ice fishermen out on less exposed pieces of water.

Hand-held at 135 mm, taken last winter from Jersey City. I may have posted a similar image before looking towards the south end of Manhattan, but this time I used DxO 10 (the previous attempts I made used Lightroom + (Topaz or Noiseware). I'm much happier with the DxO result here.

I totally covet that pond. It looks like such a lovely, peaceful place to while away a few hours...

Geez, those pictures tempt me to sell the house, the car, the kids... and move to Colorado! Excellent samples from the 18-135.
