I just don't go for a walk without the 18-135.. that would be blasphemy..

Love that polarizing filter for clouds.. I just leave it on

The artful beggar

I took this spur-of-the-moment shot not long ago of my dog Joe making an appeal for a bite or two at our dinner table. I keep the 18-135 on my K3 for just such opportunities.

Natural daytime indoor light, f/3.5, 1/40 sec., ISO 2000, pattern metering.

Using a K-30 and trying out the capture in focus. It seemed to work well. Processed in LR and cropped pretty close. The young Kestrels of Spring have left the nest and spend the mornings looking for lizards around our patio. It's always a trio of them every year, so that must be how many eggs are laid by the mom.
