Since I'm still not skiing my ski lens has become more of a dog lens.
The extra reach of the lens helps with capturing athletic dogs like Luna!

I don't think I suffer from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) but I do get tired of our dull, drab January days. This is the best sunrise I've seen since 2015.

When I woke up that day I knew it will be good the moment I saw this:

So I went through the woods...

All the way to the sea, just to see...

...a ghost ship!

How could I resist?

Man, I love WR.

Posted elsewhere, I chose the 18-135 WR as I had no qualms about taking it out in this cold weather!

A view from the top

I took this picture with the K-3 and the SMC-DA 18-135mm yesterday from the front doorstep of the Wrigley Mansion, on a hilltop overlooking Phoenix. The mansion was built in the late 1920s by William Wrigley, Jr. It still stands as a meeting venue and private club restaurant. Wrigley made his fortune making and selling chewing gum.

I was out on a trail today... it's supposed to be dark and miserable for the next week, so, it was sort of a binge.. All images taken with the 18-135.

A typical hardwood forest walk, on the Lookout Trail in Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada.

There are lots of things to see along the way.

Brewer Lake, on the drive home.

Nice pics. I especially like the closeups. I really like the 18-135.

I'm easing back into skiing post injury. Skied with my son and his friend today at the ski area.

An incredibly sharp lens!

This is only about 10% of the original image. Even blown up this much, the detail in the petals are still visible.
