I'm easing back into skiing post injury. Skied with my son and his friend today at the ski area.

From your shots it looks as a good skiing lens

Here is a couple taken with the K-S2 & 18-135. I used a six stop ND filter for these two.

A winter walk on the Lookout Trail.
K-3 and DA 18-135

The parking lot...

On the trail

A famous beech leaf.

Preferred attire.

The big picture view

Cold wind at the lookout.

A tighter view..

Flying...

You can always count on a chickadee to crash the party.

Hi Matt, This doesn't look out-doorsy enough for you!
Snow? Mountain bike territory? Are you lost?

(Nice image all the same.)

Cross posted.
My daughter's 10 week old Cavoodle.
I like the way the black hair has texture and definition.
This was a flash shot taken from only a few feet away and looked a bit grey (gray) when imported into Lightroom, but the black has been rescued and looks good IMO.

it is outdoors!
I'll be back in the mountains this weekend. Visiting my elderly parents this week.

We had some fun last night using the multi strobe function on my Metz 58 AF-2

From this afternoons walk.. K-5 and DA 18-135.

Ready to go...

The view from the ridge

Misty takes in the view.

Random pseudo macros...

What trip would be complete without the mandatory beech tree leaf in winter?

Tripper tries to convince the other dogs to play.

These are all fantastic! I really like the last one, it looks like a classic 35mm film shot.

Climbed and skied a nearby peak today with a couple of friends so I took the 18-135 on my KS-2.
