Brighter one is Venus, and a faint small dot bellow is Saturn.

Ah, thanks. It's a lovely photo. The other one is quite striking too, reminds me of something from Lord of the Rings. Your air must be exceptionally clear.

Thanks!

The air above the rocky ridge was really clear, while the nearby city just drowned in a heavy smog:

First two are cross-posted from K3 sample shots, third is from my "so glad this thing is weather resistant" collection.

Some B&W conversions, both taken at 24mm.

That's Great Shooting Mattt. I remember trying to shoot Sports and Fast action with A7R and Sigma 70-200 F2.8 and Nailing Focus was a challenge !!. Majority of the shots I took were throw aways.

The first shot deserves to be printed large and displayed well.

I agree, the first shot is great. The second really gives me a "3D" effect.

Thanks! I really should get around to printing some images.

Thank you! This lens is very much capable of rendering depth. Of course, a contrasty b&w conversion helps accentuating the details and thus gives more depth, too.

Another from the same area, this one at 53mm.
