From last summer. Love the quick focus on this lens.

Big meltdown in the last couple of days. I crashed my bike into a puddle like this on my way to work this morning. I was ok but soaked and cold so I had to go home to change and took a different route back to the office.
The K-3 & 18-135 got a little wet but not as wet as I got.

LOL, I think you will be in the minority! Somehow cyclists don't get much tough guy cred in the US. I think it's the public's aversion to spandex and maybe some reluctance to share the roads with a mode of transportation that doesn't feed the fossil fuel industry.

But oh yeah I'm tough. Tough like a 150 Lb piece of grisly, bony, free-range chicken.

I'm with Norm--definitely tough. A friend of mine in Utah was an all-weather bicycle commuter when he worked, and now he's an all-weather road-and-trail biker in retirement. Same basic physical description. He posts selfies with icicles hanging off his beard.

There's a massive new parking structure at our biggest shopping center--used to be three floors of parking, now it's nine. They just opened the rooftop parking so I went up there yesterday to see what I could see. I also brought along my Sigma 10-20 f/4 - 5.6 for some ultrawide stuff, but there's nothing like having the wide to telephoto capability of the 18-135 when something catches your eye. The last pic is from about a week ago when I went to catch a sunset from the ocean side of the shopping center but got there too late and took a long dusk exposure instead at the nearby boat harbor.

Nice photo Matt! No fun, falling in ice water. At my old job, I commuted year round for a number of years. I remember once falling on ice and slipping with my bike for 10 feet.

Help ...

I've done this a few times now: I comment on someone's photo or respond to someone's comment, later make a separate post with some pictures and wind up with the pictures appended to the earlier post. Happened again last night. I don't know how/why this happens and why it only happens sometimes, or why the pictures posts look fine when I preview them. Any ideas?

Thank you so much. It was making me feel both rude and stupid.
