Your welcome I had the same problem. Took a little hunting around to figure out what was going on.

Lovely shot. I'm glad we don't have all the homicidal critters you do, but I wouldn't mind finding one of those hanging around the neighborhood.

Their name sounds ominous but they don't pose any danger. They are more scared of you than you are of them. They run away very fast and are near impossible to catch.

Blame the shooter, not the lens

I wasn't all that happy with the way the original shot turned out. The sign in the lower left is too blown out and I think I jostled the camera a bit--I was just holding it down on the walkway wall in front of my apartment--because the picture isn't as sharp as long exposures with the 18-135 usually are, but I liked some of the results when I started messing around with the toning. I showed this version around a bit and the mood it conveyed seemed to revolve around Miles Davis, cigarettes and whisky.

There are lots of fine images here with this versatile lens. I might go out to play with the limited lenses, but my SMC DA 18-135 WR buddy comes along and always gets some action.

I initially went out with my sigma 50-150 to get some portait-ish shots of the kids while they were enjoying the spring-like weather in February. But this thread got me inspired to break out the 18-135. Glad I did. The versatility allowed me to go wide.
