I have lenses that are better quality than this little workhorse, but none are more versatile.

Yesterday we had some rain. If you've never experienced rain in the desert, it can frequently come down in narrow regions rather than the whole sky. I never experienced this in the east. Both photos have minimal post processing, just a little color and contrast tweaking. K-3 II with the 18-135 WR.





And this one taken in clear skies a week before at Dripping Springs State Park (NM):

So true. Very autumnal Peter, with the coast banksia and fungi. This lens renders such rich colours beautifully.

If I can only take one lens, I usually go the 18-135 Des. If I need a little more reach than the 135 gives me, this little lens is so sharp that cropping for length is not an issue.
