I took this lens on vacation to New Zealand, along with a DA21mm prime... but this one literally didn't leave the camera the entire time, it's so versatile (and WR is a big bonus in NZ). Some photos from caves on the South Island:

These are fabulous.

For anyone wondering, as I was, where the NZ cave photos from @BoredomFestival are, the answer is here: DA 18-135 WR, Show us what it can do - PentaxForums.com

Nice pictures. I like the juxtaposition of the second one, taken at 31mm, and the fourth one, taken at 115mm, both involving the same valley, I assume?
All part of the South Downs, a chain of chalk hills along the south coast of England and very scenic on a nice day, which this wasn't. I need the whole of this lens on these walks.

The Angel of The North is a massive iron statue in the north east of England. It is visible for miles

The Angel of the North

As for me, the parts have arrived for my k30 aperture block so I may well have it back this week, then it’s 18-135 time, and having seen these pictures, I can’t wait

And with wings that shape, he/she wouldn't so much fly as plummet. What surprises me is all that grade A advertising space and not so much as a flyer (pun intended (and I am really sorry about it))

Holy Island of Lindesfarne in Northumberland, England. Landscape and Portrait all from one lens. It's a winner

This is a 14er, Mt. Shavano. I grabbed this shot while getting gas on my way home from skiing in another part of the state last weekend because the Angel of Shavano was visible.
Do you see her?

Unless your real name is Methuselah, the Vikings and their heathen ways left York before you were born. Probably before your parents were born, too. Now, when I was young, I was surrounded by Hellerviks and Engbloms, even a few Hansens. Most of them were fairly well domesticated on most days, but you just never knew.

Such a good lens for plants; useful from one end of the range to the other. Contrasty, excellent centre sharpness, rich colours. The bokeh can be hit and miss, as these samples show: nervous or nisen at times (e.g. samples at 18mm and 88mm), very pleasant at others (e. g. first sample at 100mm). Can be significant purple fringing, especially at the wide end, but flare resistance is very good.
