There seems to be something wrong with the first image showing the trees. The lower part is a series of horizontal bars. My system? Never seen this before.

I had to look up details of the sign in the first image, there is precious little about it other than this:
NOSTALGIA: What on earth did this mean? - The News

Across the road from it is a new / refurbished building, the second image. So I had some cropping fun for the third image

Thanks, Des. Sandy's house? I can't say for sure as I have never met him but my guess is that it isn't.
