Forgive me Norm, but I had to check the EXIF to make sure these were all taken with the 18-135. The dark browns and the mist give these photos a great ambience.
There are a lot of walks the K-3 and 18-135 are all I take. The equivalent package, K-1 and 28-200 doesn't exist and would be a lot heavier. IF you put the DA*60-250 and 1.4 TC in the bag with it, you're ready for almost anything.

Out in the rain

Unintentionally. I meant to take some wide shots with the slow Sigma 10-20 but it started to rain so off it came and back on came the 18-135.

I have posted these elsewhere, but I think they are worth posting on this thread.
No prep for this series; see bird, wind 18-135 out to 135, shoot shoot shoot. (Then crop crop crop!!)
That is a great series there, Rod. It really shows what the 18-135 can do. I am a very proud owner.

I love the rendering on this one. I was going to post it in the K series prime thread, then I realised it's a DA 18-135 shot

Thanks Ray.
The 18-135 is on my KP (and K5 before that) most of the time. And sometimes it just outdoes itself and its sometimes badly (and erroneous) maligned reputation.

Rayallen - very nice shots that demonstrate the amazing versatility of the 18-135WR. Mine is semi-permanently attached to my K3, ready to go for virtually any target of opportunity.

Some days you just have to get away and go for a walk, even if it is a short walk in a not-official park 10 minutes from my house. The northeast swale, as it's called, is a piece of land within Saskatoon city limits that was no good for farming and when the subdivisions started to encroach, endangered native grasses were discovered, so it is off limits to human development. I'm not sure why the beavers are logging in the area, there isn't actually any water flowing out of this pond.

From todays hike in Telemark, Norway:

(The wide-end wasn't wide enough for the lake, so several photos needed to be stitched. Don't study the ripples to carefully...)
