It's a fun thread, Peter, partly because it's so diverse, thanks to the versatility of this lens.

It's actually been a bit quiet here lately.

Wilson's Promontory lighthouse, South Gippsland, Victoria. This is the southernmost point on the Australian mainland. K-S2 + DA 18-135. (X-posted from the lighthouses thread.)

Some slightly smaller hills. Looking across Ben Lomond towards Bein Dubh from last february.

For myself this lens has a place in my armoury for taking up hills, where it performs well enough without the weight of a couple of constant aperture zooms covering the same range.

Thanks for looking,

Ralph

I'm impressed with your pizza oven. I feel kind of inadequate now using our microwave to cook a pizza.

Nice pix.

Nice pix.

There’s nothing like the smell of a pizza being made the “ancient way”, and the crust - fantastic
It takes about three hours before the oven is ready, two minutes to bake a pizza.

@FoxbatK, those are spectacular shots.
@MattB123, characteristically vivid images that take the viewer there.

This is the Heemskirk Range in Western Tasmania. The range was named by Abel Tasman after one of his two ships, at the point where he first sighted Tasmania in 1642. The foreground buttongrass plains are characteristic of western and south-western Tasmania. K-S2 and DA 18-135

Awesome. One of the remotest places on Earth.

Navigating on a 4WD track in western Tasmania. K-S2 + DA 18-135 (X-posted from streets thread)

And the vista from the track. Cradle Mountain, Barn Bluff and the Ossa range in the background.
