They were on their way into the park as I was exiting. I arrived early in the morning, no traffic. I parked far from the Center of the park where the loop road goes, and hiked around the trails "off the beaten path". All in all, it was a relaxing bit of near solitude. It's very interesting to me that Garden of the Gods was once well away from the city, but my how things have grown! Still, it's not as bad as Denver, (yet)
