FA 35mm f2 vs Zooms

hi guys ,

reading the reviews for the FA 35mm f2, it seems its getting a bad wrap for its bokeh. but im just wondering how would the bokeh of the 35mm f2 compare to the well renowned zooms in that range
such as DA* 16-55mm,Tamron 17-50mm f 2.8 ,Tamron 28-70 f 2.8,sigma 17-50 f 2.8 and the DA 16-45mm.do any of these zooms have abetter bokeh than the FA 35 f2.

i ordered the FA 31mm but i think after reading many reviews getting the FA 35 f2 instead would allow me to get a another lens may be the DA 70mm.
but i am concerned with the bokeh. if at least its better than the zooms i will go for it.

The FA35 has 6 aperture blades so the bokeh can have hexagonals in it, and is simply not as smooth. I like it, many do not. The FA 31 will, without a doubt, have smoother bokeh. The FA35 is sharp and detailed and I like the rendering. The Tamron 28-75 does have a smoother bokeh. I am happy with my FA 35 2.0 and I love my DA70. The DA70 bokeh is silky smooth and the lens is incredibly sharp at 2.4 (in the center).

FA 35mm is extremely sharp; I sold my copy a few years back because it didn't fit in with what I was shooting; now that I'm doing a lot more indoor studio stuff, I wish I had it back...
