Just received my Tamron 70-300 DI LD and my first impressions are that I've got a real bargain (paid £69 new from Warehouse Express).

Whilst I've only had a small chance to take a few shots it compares very favourably with my 50-200 - sharpness seems better and the extra range is excellent.

I've not had chance to use it in its weakest area (high contrast inducing PF) but so far I'm very pleased.

I'll provide an update when I've used it more extensively !!

I have had mine for 3 years and still use it frequently. The physical build was not so good but optically it is excellent for the price. On mine the zoom ring broke but I zoom it by physically extending the front element.

You will find its a great lens for its price. i've had one for close to 12 months and am very pleased with it. Find the Macro very useful and give great results as well.
