Sorry for posting to an old thread, but this has me concerned. I have a 31mm coming and I really like to put a B+W filter on my lenses for protection. The Nano coating works well. However, the newer filters seem to be slimmer than the picture of the Hoya above:

Has anyone used these filters? I was planing to get the 007 nano MRC, but now I'm concerned.

Thanks

If your worried just put a de-glassed filter on the lens and this will give it a bigger gap.

Which mount do you use?

The new XS-Pro mount seems to be slimmer than the F-Pro.

I was thinking about that. I was considering throwing a screw on lens hood--I didn't want to extend it too much further to avoid any possibility of vignetting. I heard the builtin lens hood doesn't do much for flare. Although the lens isn't that bad with flare to begin with.

Awesome. Thanks for confirming. That's what I'll order then. The F-Pro looks similar in height to the problematic Tiffen showed in the pictures earlier in this thread, which is why I was concerned.

I use a number of slim frame filters and I have yet to find one that cause this problem - I use Hoya, Lee, B+W, Zeiss and Singh-ray filters.
