what lica lenses can be made to work with a K5

thank's a lot. By the way I'm evaluating the Tamron 28-75 F2.8 or Pentax 17-70 F4 or Sigma 24-70 F2.8 cause the Leica conversion price and lens purchase is not cost friendly.

I can speak for the Sigma 24-70 2.8 (the original DG macro version, not the latest) Its a very good functional fast zoom, pretty heavy and noisy focus though. used ones are $3-400
the newest HSM versions are apparently excellent
The Tamron costs less but comes pretty close on performance at a lower price (not HSM though)

in the apsc lenses the tamron 17-70 2.8 won the day

Dear MSL, Could be. I think the lens was over $20,000. Never seen one advertised new or used, although recently one of the modular systems went up on EBAY for $11,000. Maybe with more no-price-increases some Pentax glass will come to that.

OOPS. My mistake. It's for sale though KEH for 11,699, and that extra puts it out of my league.
