K10D and Access 70-210 mm 3.5

I have the exact same lens; the Access 70-210 f/3.5. I had bought it for my wife to use with her K10d and had to make the same modification to the flange you ended up making in order for it to mount properly. I'd post the pics, but you'd see exactly the same thing you did. I ended up using a black sharipe to get rid of the pesky shiny edge after I sanded it down a bit.

And FWIW... my opinon is that this lens is a bit soft wide open as one would expect, but is signifigantly better at f/5.6 or higher.

Well, that was me just above. I'd forgotten my password and the email I'd registered with is long gone so I had to reregister with a new user name. I still have the Access 70-210 though, but not for long as it's destined for eBay here shortly. I'd list it here in the marketplace but apparently my non-supporter newb status prohibits it. Oh well.
