It warms the cockles of my heart to see the Vivitar Close Focus 28mm make so many appearances here. :-)

A year ago I would have had a few lenses to list, something like this:
DA 12-24mm
Vivitar 24mm f/2
Vivitar 28mm f/2
FA 43mm f/1.9 Limited
FA 77mm f/1.8 Limited
Vivitar Series 1 105mm f/2.5 Macro

As workhorse zooms these are also great (but I rarely need them):
Pentax DA 16-45mm
Pentax DA 55-300mm

Now that I'm moving away from Pentax it's difficult to say. But I think the last lens I would sell is the FA 43mm Limited. It has more magic than the otherwise very appealing Olympus G. Zuiko Auto-S 40mm f/1.4.

The Vivitar 24mm f/2 I would keep as the widest nice prime to use on a tilt adapter for MFT.

The Vivitar Series 1 105mm becomes a nice 210mm equivalent macro on MFT, though compared to everything else it now seems too large for regular use. But it's the only lens I've ever bothered to have repaired and refurbished, so it means a lot to me!

What this thread mostly demonstrates is that we are truly spoilt. :-)

I'd have to split the lenses into 10 MF lenses and 10 AF ones

As Rico says it is just stuff, but here's the last ones I would sell if I had to:
Takumar 135/3.5 preset (sentimental value)
S-M-C Takumar 135/2.5
S-M-C Takumar 120/2.8
S-M-C Takumar 85/1.8
S-M-C Takumar 35/2
S-M-C Takumar 20/4.5
Macro-Takumar 50/4 preset
DFA 100/2.8
FA 28-70 f/4
DA* 16-50 f/2.8

Some have sentimental value, some would be hard to replace and some I use too often to part with.

I also wouldnt part with my Sigma 10-20mm unless I had something at a similar focal length to replace it with...

I don't have 10 lenses, can I keep them all? No?
Ok so the Voigtlander 125 and the FA31 will stay and I can say good bye to the Voigtlander 20, 58, 180, to the Pentax 77 and 135 f2.5 and to the Sigma 300 f4.

Hmmm

The order in which I'd sell mine, given an emergency

1. Sigma 150-500mm (it's a great lens and a fabulous value, but I just don't have much use for it any more)
2. 18-55mm WR (not too much value)
3. Another 18-55mm WR (I've already flooded the market with the first one)
4. FA 50 f/1.4mm... no quick shift always bugged me a bit
5. DFA 100mm (great lens but I've never gotten attached to it)
6. Tamron 70-200mm
7. Sigma 8-16mm (really love the perspective but of course isn't very versatile)
8. Pentax 55-300mm (not worth very much, very light, and a favorite of Mrs. ElJamoquio)
9. Vivitar 50mm f/1.7 (worthless but with large sentimental value)
9.5. 35mm Macro Limited *
10. 15mm Limited (really awesome lens)
11. 35mm Macro Limited**

*If I wanted to be murdered by Mrs. ElJamoquio.
**If I prefer to remain among the living.

The lenses that I have are all Pentax and include:
FA 31 LTD, FA 77 LTD, DA*50-135, 10-17 fisheye, 35 LTD macro, DA 18-250. Truth be told I am very happy with each one of them. If one had to go, it would likely be the 35 LTD as I don't seem to need the macro functionality (and if I did, the 10-17 does provide some macro functionality.)
It's interesting to hear the 55 mentioned in such a positive light. (I think I'm going to read the reviews on the lens.)

Of course, you are asking a rhetorical question, but the truth is that I would sell any lens at a high enough price. But then I would buy back any of the FA Limiteds at a fair price.

Of course "never" in this case means "never as long as I continue to have the good fortune, health, time, and finances to pursue this hobby". That said, there are only 2 lenses I'm absolutely attached to, the FA 77 limited and the DA 15 limited. Also have the FA 43 limited, which is good but hasn't grabbed me as much. I've had and sold DA 35, FA 50/1.7, Sigma 70 macro, and Viv 70-210.

I thought I'd never sell my Tamron 90, but I did to get the WR and have more DxO lenses. I thought I'd never sell my SMC Tak 135/2.5, but I almost did when I started reducing my manual kit. I really love most of my kit; but I think, under the right circumstances, I would sell any one of them. All except the Helios 44-2, it's so cheap and amazing, why would I sell it?
