The list can be updated to show the new DA 50/1.8. It is described as a FF compatible lens.
I've seen retailers describe it as FF, but never Pentax. I'm on the fence on this one. If you've seen Pentax describe it as FF please let me know.

It surprised me to see retailers describing the 50/1.8 working on FF. With multiple retail locations listing it as such, I'm assuming the vendors get their specs from Pentax. My guess is Pentax provides a data sheet with each of their products because B&H isn't going to spend the time with a film camera to see if each Pentax lens is compatible, nor are they going to pay their marketing department to come up with one-line statements about the products.

Also, compare the 50 to the other recent release, the 35/2.4. The 35 is clearly described for APS-C while the 50 isn't. That's why I suggested adding it to the list.

I haven't read the information from the release for the 50, and this is your list so if you're uncomfortable adding it then I'm not going to lose any sleep.

why not just add all the pentax lenses that are in the thread for DA lenses that cover full frame, as well.

No zoom lens list?

It was already there. I re-arranged it. Right now Pentax only has the 60-250, and even that could be questionable.

I buckled to your insistent demands. It's on there now.

What about the two shift-tilt lenses from Schneider? I've seen them for sale at B&H, but it says "ships in 10-14 days" - is that enough to make them "special order" instead of "current production"? They might be interesting on a full frame camera, though I'd be interested in something wider. Not to mention that they are way out of my price-range!

I added them. I don't think 10-14 days makes them special order. If someone starts complaining that they can get the A 50 in 10 days I might take them back off.

Don't forget the 28mm PC Super-Angulon as well.
It's also a T-mount, like the longer tilt-shift lenses.

Sincere thanks.

I already had the 70, I didn't explicitly list it as macro.

The 105 - right now Sigma lists it as NOT in the pentax mount, BH doesn't seem to have a listing for it in Pentax mount, and Adorama says it's backordered. If it comes up for sale or Sigma changes it's story I'll add it. One of the qualifiers is that a 'normal retailer' has to have it.

The 150 - BH says it's a new item and Sigma doesn't have it in Pentax. If someone says it's shipping I'll add it.
The 180 - Same-ish.

there are still older versions of these lenses floating around that are able to be used on full frame cameras. I have used the Sigma 180mm f/3.5 APO [IF] EX DG on my LX a few times

Yup, there are gads of legacy lenses, but this list was supposed to be off-the-shelf stuff that's still being manufactured.

some of those lenses will be back in production. I don't think Sigma will ignore Pentax the way Cosina has.

If I can find the non-OS version of the '150, I'll be happy.

4. 50mm f2.8 macro
5. 50mm f1.4
6. 50mm f1.8 (caveat: described as FF by retailers and seems to perform as FF lens. Unknown if Pentax told retailers it was FF.)
7. 77mm f1.8
8. 100mm f/2.8 macro
9. 300mm f4
10. 60-250 f4
I find this very hard to read without the prefixes (DA, FA, D FA)
