I do mountain hiking where I carry lots of gear so can't use my normal photography backpack - I use a hiking backpack instead. I use a standard camera case inside the backpack & want a lens pouch to protect the 70-300 in the backpack too, don't want to risk damaging the lens when scrambling down a mountainside !!
I currently have the Lowepr 1S for my previous 50-200 but its too small for the Tamron - would appreciate knowing which one suits better
