80-200:3.5 SIGMA woulnt fit K10D

Hello all.

I just bought through Ebay an old objective. it cost me only 10 so i thought it worths the blind try
now physically it fits well but then i get this funny error message on the small digits LCD screen.
namely a flashing "F--"

what does it mean ? do i have to operate it manually ? how to i do that ?

Hi Amit,

If that's a manual lens, you will have to set the aperture manually and use M-mode to meter the light.

It means that you have to go into the custom menu and set the using apature ring function to option 2 permitted
