Declicking and Smooth Focus?

So I attempted to de click my Helios today, and it was a success! I don't know what I did, but its now smooth haha. Although now I can't stop my lens down fully, It only stops down to roughly F8/11, but thats fine though.

I was wondering is there anyway to make the focus smoother? There probably isn't, or I guess it won't be easy at least. But if anyone has any experience I would like to hear. I know these lenses are designed for manual focus so I highly doubt just damping grease would help :S
