Is there a list of Pentax and aftermarket weather sealed lenses?

Just what the title says, I would like to know if there is a list of both Pentax and aftermarket weather sealed lenses. Also, how good is the weather sealing on them? And one other thing, anyone hear of any good up coming weather sealed lenses, either Pentax or third party? I'd love to know!

Here's the list of Pentax lenses:
DA WR Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database

AFAIK this is the only third-party lenses that's weather sealed, and it's not available for Pentax (yet?):
Sigma 12-24mm F4.5-5.6 EX DG ASP HSM II Wide-Angle Zoom 204109

According to the Pentax roadmap, there's at least one weather-sealed lens on the horizon:
Pentax Lens Roadmaps - 645, Q, K 2012 - Pentax Camera News & Rumors - PentaxForums.com

And overall, the weather sealing does what it's supposed to do

Thanks. I was hoping for more options than I saw. I'd really like something like the 18-250 in a weather sealed setup, or even an 18-200 weather sealed out there somewhere.

How come DFA 100WR is not on the Pentax WR lens list?

While the Tamron/DA18-250mm is not wether-sealed, it is a very sturdy and robust lens. One needs to remember that the Tamron/Da18-250mm was developed and sold when weather-resistance was not yet a marketing ploy.

Many PF members and others have used the lens in atrocious conditions. I am one such person: I shoot in foul weather incl. subtropicl storms, floods, in mud, near seawater splash .... Although I do take care of my DA18-250mm, I genuinely believe that it is well suited for foul weather conditions.

The only down side is the zoom action: I always clean carefully the extended lens before I retract the zoom.

Simply if you think that the Tamron/DA18-250mm is the right lens for you, it will serve you well in poor weather conditions as long as you take care of it.

Hope that the comment may help...

because it's a D-FA lens, not DA This would give all WR lenses regardless of system/designation.

Just go to Search - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database and tick Weather Resistant on the right hand side.

Lens Name Suffixes
The following abbreviations are used in lens names:

. . .
AW: All Weather. The highest degree of sealing against dust and rain.
. . .

18-135 not acceptable? It's a pretty decent lens.

This is a blast from the past! I posted it over 6 years ago. Right now my WR lenses are the 18-135 and my DFA 150-450. I've had and sold the DA* 16-50 and DA* 60-250. I'm fairly happy with my kit, but wouldn't mind the DFA 15-30, DFA 24-70, and DFA 70-200 to go along with what I have.
