Thanks Mike. I've mostly been more into zooms....ie; 16-45, 12-24 (a truly great lens), 55-300 and my old (bought new in '84) 35-105 A Macro zoom, F 3.5.....forgot my FE 10-17...another phenomenal lens...but a real challenge.

Enjoy your Limiteds!

Too bad the little Limited case was discontinued, maybe the new one will be even better.

Here is a really tiny two case kit using the original Limited cases. The 3 amigos fit nicely in one (FA31, 43 and 77) with DA15Ltd, DFA100Macro WR and 49mm polarizer in the second. Five killer lenses in less space than a couple potato chip tubes.

I believe you need to send these to me testing, I'll only require a few decades with them, but after that, You'll know they are good.

What's your address?

Those two tubes are a big part of my new "little" kit. Had been carrying big guns, 2.8 FA zooms and telemacro plus the 3 amigos--and still do--but for everyday, pretty tough to argue against those 5 little lenses with a K5.

Put me in the column of liking the DA over FA as well, if for no other reason than like the others have mentioned, size.

Any thoughts on the 35mm Macro limited?

The 40m limited is my favorite lens and is almost ALWAYS attached to my K20D Looking forward to your shots!

I'm not so sure about those zippered clamshell cases. I like to be able to change lenses while I'm walking, and those look like a great way to drop a lens (or three). For travel and sightseeing type stuff, I use a little Domke F5-XB with an extra velcro divider and some homemade foam pads to carry a K-5 and the DA15, DA21, DA40 and DA70. I could stuff the DA35 Macro in there as well, but then it gets a bit tight. I can put the bag inside of an old daypack and it doesn't look at all like there is a lot of expensive gear on me. It's a pretty comfortable way to shoot while sightseeing and traveling. If I'm expecting some lens changes I can wear the Domke and just pull the daypack tight against my back with some homemade compression straps.

One of the great things about the DA Limiteds is that even with the largest of them the camera in your hand looks really small and attracts little attention. The quick-shift focus is really nice too.
