DA 35mm f/2.8 Macro Limited

I just stumbled on this picture. Has anyone actually seen the pic before. It looks very nice! Nice to know that Pentax hasn't forgotten about nice primes.

Matt

Looks beautiful!

I am already dreaming about these "limited" lenses (even ones that aren't released yet), and I dont even have a pentax slr yet

It's not a fake. It's on the roadmap along with the 55mm, I believe.

I saw it on the roadmap, but never a pic, just thought I'd share it. Matt

MUST HAVE! I have been waiting for this for some time. I will buy it as soon as it is in stores.

I think I have LBA pretty bad. I am thinking of selling my silver 31 and 77 limiteds so I can buy the black versions and have all my lenses match.... Seems like an odd thing to do after all the trouble I went through to buy them in silver. Oh well.. The black ones are starting to grow on me.

I wonder if anybody has adapted the AA 12-step program to LBA yet....

that will fit nicely in my bag between my 21 & 40 DA Limited lenses. Pentax primes are some of the best glass out there.

You said it! I want every DA Limited available. For low light, I might purchase the FA Limiteds as well. It can never hurt, lols.

Those two FAs are calling my name quite badly right now, but so is the 50-135. On one hand I would hate for the FAs to go out of production and up in price, but on the other hand.... Hmmm....

there's already a 40mm F2.8 Limited DA Pancake lens... not sure the 5MM will make a difference?
Unless there's something really special about this one...

Closer minimum focusing distance, flat field corrected and restores the angle of view of a 50mm macro on 35mm film. This lens is perfect for still life close-ups. The only drawback is the lack of an aperture ring common to all DA lenses.

Looks like a much wider focus ring than the 40. Should be nice for those of us who really like quick shift....

It's a macro lens. That's enough of a special reason!
