IMO the best prevention of fungus infection is to actually take your lenses out and use them, rather than just hoard them in a dark cupboard as some sort of a perverse investment

If you do actually happen to live in some godforsaken hot and damp place, then just get a peltier effect dry cabinet or a second hand automatic lab desiccator - Secador make nice ones. As for fungus removal - cold cream is the best !
