Cap for B+W lens hood?

I recently picked up this B+W screw-in lens hood:

B+W | 49mm Screw-In Metal Wide Angle Lens Hood #970 | 65069645

I can't put on the lens' regular snap-on lens cap anymore, so I'm trying to find a slip-on lens cap to go over it. By my ruler the outside diameter is 70mm across. Anyone know if this one will work?

I could just order one and check, but I'm trying to avoid the hassle of having to send it back if it doesn't work.

Have you tried using a larger diameter clip/pinch on lens cap? The pictured lens hood looks similar to what I have on a few of my lenses and I use the wider lens caps quite easily.
