Alternative lens hood for Tokina 28-80?

I really want to like this lens, but using a screw-on lens hood is such a hassle that it usually just stays in my bag.

B&H and Adorama used to carry the replacement hood (BH-775) from time to time, but it seems like they've stopped.

Has anyone with this lens found a good alternative lens hood? I'm thinking a non-standard hood might be even better, if I can find one thats meant for a slightly longer lens (to make up for the APS-C crop issues).

Alternately, would anyone who has this hood be willing to measure it and provide dimensions so I can have a starting point for my search?

I do not know if this is what you were looking for, but here is a link for paper (cardboard) printable lens hood for tokina 28-80 f2.8 (not sure if this is your lens).
