Ricoh Rikenon 21mm F3.5

Does anybody knows anything about this lens? I've been looking on the internet and found almost nothing.
Any info is welcome.
Thanks!

where did you see it?
Is it the L39 RF lens (leica screw mount) they did have a couple of RF lenses (there is a a few GR 28 3.5 on ebay right now but for LTM mount and expensive) made originally for the GR cameras then released as a standalone. They have a very good reputation but cost a bomb (and are pretty rare)

Riken / Ricoh Edit

Riken, predecessor of Ricoh, announced the Riken No.1 Leica-type 3×4 cm camera in 1938; its Riken 50mm f/3.5 lens perhaps had an interchangeable Leica mount, but nothing is confirmed so far. The camera was finally released as the Gokoku; it normally has a fixed lens, but at least one example is known with a Leica-mount Ofunar 50mm f/3.5, which was perhaps not made by Riken but by Tomioka or Ōfuna. Finally, the Neutar 50mm f/3.5 lens mounted on the Ricohl IIB normally has a slightly different screw mount, incompatible with the Leica, but at least one example is known in standard Leica mount. See Gokoku and Ricohl for these three lenses.

In the late 1990s, Ricoh made two lenses in Leica screw mount, in limited editions:

21/3.5 GR, 1000 made in chrome and 700 in black, 1999, same lens as the Ricoh GR-21
28/2.8 GR, 2000 made in chrome and 1000 in black, 1997, same lens as the Ricoh GR-1

Thanks a lot! I've found some info here The Unofficial Guide to Ricoh SLR Cameras and Rikenon Lenses
It's a M42 mount and I can get it at local shop for 150.00 Euro's. Most likely I wont buy it.

looks like it's derived from the same design as my Lentar 21 3.8 (many variants out there)

If the price is right well worth it I shoot mine a lot

150 euros does seem on the high side, but 21 is not a widely available used MF lens so they tend to come at a higher price. add in the Ricoh name is better known than say my Lentar (which is the same lens as the Tokina 21 BTW). it may also be a better lens.

If it is the same as the Tokina, 150 euros seems pretty high. The same lens can be found under Vivitar, Soligor, Lentar, Hanimex, Asanuma, Bushnell and probably more brands.

I think I'm going to save my money for some other lens.
Thank you!
