M 50 f1.7 vs. A 50 f1.7

I just won an A 50f1.7 on ebay. I have two copies of the M50 f1.7 and was wondering if I should consider dropping the M50 or whether I should hold onto it. Is the image quality of the M better than that of the A or generally similar? I'm not really interested in having a big collection of lenses, so my inclination will be to sell the M's, but I figure I'd put it up for debate as well.

In my mind its really a question about IQ, the A wins hands down on useability.

In my experience A's and M's are optically exactly the same. I don't know this for sure, but as far as results go; I have never seen a difference.

Hi

I have an A, M and F 50mm.
Really don't see any difference, the M feels better to use than the A but as you said the Auto
lens is much easier and practical especially for flash use.
The F is great for lazy days or when my eye is off focus !
I don't really NEED the 3 but they were cheap and are paid for, also I don't have to feed them or anything so what the heck .
Besides the other 50s would probably miss them.

If you prefer the feel of an M, keep one. If you want to build a collection of all 50s, keep them all. Everything. Can't never have enough Fifties, y'know.

As noted above, the two lenses are equivalent optically. The main difference is build and the ease of operation on cameras with a crippled mount. The M's build is superior to the A's.
