I gave my 18-250 to my son once I got the 18-135. The 18-250 has great IQ but the 18-135 is smaller, silent, adds WR, and has no zoom creep.

I have other options for longer than 135, so that may be your only consideration if you need the extra 115mm.
I took a few lenses during our Disneyland/Grand Canyon family vacation last year but ended up using the 18-250 throughout the entire trip. The convenience and the more than decent IQ it’s capable of simply makes it the ideal vacation lens; especially chasing a 2-year old and a 5-year old around Disney. The majority of my shots though were around 150mm and under. I think I’ll be happy “trading” the extra 115mm for better IQ, smaller lens, WR and yes, no barrel-creep. I do have the 55-300 to cover the long end.
