Need some advice for my next lens

greetings everyone, let me start off by listing my current lens.

first gen DA 18-55mm - only use when i need the extra 18mm for landscape, otherwise hardly use it
DA 35mm f2.4 - my most loved lens, awesome sharpness & color & bokeh & focus speed, a perfect lens in my opinion
F 35-70mm - highly rated lens in the forum, but might be the construction, i just don't like using it much
M 50mm f1.8 + macro tubes - bought it for macro work, but find it hard to use and it's just not my thing

i mostly shoot portraits (75% of the time), and the rest landscape + street life.
planning of getting rid all the lens except the 35mm, and buy a general lens that fits my need.

i am looking at the tamron 28-75, 17-50, the constant f2.8 is great, and the range is perfect for portrait work.
sigma has a great lens too, but the price tag just push me away.

can anyone give me some suggestion on which of the 2 lens should i get?
i personally prefer the 17-50mm range, but again, i shoot portrait most the time, so it is not that big of a concern, plus the 28mm end is good enough for landscape.
color & bokeh wise, which one is better?

thanks for reading and im sorry for this long post.

Are you referring to the Tamron 17-50 or the DA*16-50? The DA* is well within the neighborhood of $800 already. I had both the Tamron 28-75 and 17-50 at one point and they are great lenses. The latter tends to underexpose, at least on the K-x. For portrait work I would suggest the 28-75. I think the 17-50/16-50 might be too wide.

the 28-75 will be better for portraits, but bigger and heavier as well as it is a FF lens (which may well be a benefit within a year or so)
I have an older sigma and i will say having the extra range to 24mm is very useful on apsc giving the FOV of a 35mm on ff/film. IQ wise either should be an improvement on the lenses you are getting rid of (with the possible exception of the 50 - depends on which 50 it is. For portrait my most used lens is actually a Super Tak 55 1.8 because I like the rendering

thanks for your reply.
i meant the tamron 28-75, tamron 17-50, sorry for confusion.

what my concern is, do they really make a difference on color and bokeh?
they look too similar except the range.
so if the color and bokeh are also the same, i will just choose one that fits my range needs.
