Has anyone tried a Pentax 18-135 WR on k10d?

First of all I would like to say that I found another thread talking about the same on the forum but does not answer my question. Also I saw some pictures on dprev.
The thing is I'd like to set up an all around system for my wife with a k10d (my second body at the moment) and a 18-135 that I'm planning to buy. I understand the cons of all around lenses and I know all reviews about the Pentax da 18-135 WR so I don't really need suggestions on other combinations.

My concern is if the chromatic aberrations of the 18-135 will show up on the k10d really badly taking into account that this camera does not have a lens correction feature. I'm also aware that LR lens profiles coul be of help in order to solve this problem but as I said before this combination will be used by my wife and she'll be shooting jpg and she has no intention of postprocessing her shots.

Any experience and pictures using k10d+18-135 will be welcomed.

Thanks for your help

Personally, I don't use lens corrections on my K-5, and 99% of the photos turn out fine. Unless you're shooting in a weird situation, it should be negligible.

As with Eulogy, I actually never use any lens corrections on any of my Pentax's I've ever owned, K2000/K-m (Don't know if this even had it, it was sooo long ago), and my K-7 and K-5.

I do not use lens correction for the 18-135 or any lens on my k-5.
Pictures look fine.
Remember to update the firmware on the k-10d or the AF won't function with that lens.

Same here. I use the 18-135 on my K20D, which does not have lens corrections. CA's are actually pretty well controlled on this lens.
