Anywhere to get cheap rear caps and front caps?

I need at least 3 rear caps, and if I buy them at places like Amazon they're like $10 each. Is there a site that will deal cheaply with these sorts of accessories? Would also be nice if the site had front caps in various sizes, hoods, etc.

Is my best bet just to order a bunch individually off ebay?

I recently picked a pack of 3 original pentax rear caps fromKEH

I think I paid about $11 for them. Their stock levels fluctuate though.

I picked up a set from Dealextreme.com for a couple of bucks.
Universal Lens and Body Covers for Pentax/PK Cameras - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

Shipping is free but very slow. My last order took over a month.

I've bought sets on eBay that were around $10 for 5 or $20 for 12 with a mix and match of front, rear, and body caps. Can't seem to find the seller but the caps are all reproductions but they fit just fine.

This is what I got for the body cap:

$6.82, 1 available

Body Cap for Pentax K Bayonet Mount Cameras | eBay

and for the rear lens cap:

$0.99 (yes that's correct), 10+ available

Pentax PK K Mount Rear Lens Cap cover pentax lens back cap cover | eBay

I honestly could not tell you ANY difference from the authentic Pentax ones I have - and I tried really hard to find something - I just ordered two more to replace the crappy Sigma rear caps.

Hope this helps

I bought these, ten rear lens caps for $6.72:
10* Rear Lens Cap Cover < Pentax PK 55-300mm 18-55mm | eBay
I can't tell them from my authentic Pentax caps. They even say Pentax and Japan on them.

THANKS! I could NOT find them for some reason. I've got 10 of those and they are solid and good quality. With free shipping they are 67-68 cents each too!

I recently purchased tamron rear lens cap for pentax AF at B&H for 5.50 each (new). It is nice on Pentax K mount and VS1 lenses and the reviews on B&H are accurate; however, the tamron adaptall 2 (pentax K) lens adapter and these lens caps are not a good match--the caps don't tighten/fall off.

I use heavystar on eBay, though I have to caution that his M42 back caps are not deep enough for many lenses.

The Tamron rear caps are huge and finicky to mount. I replaced mine with Pentax style.

I agree but they do cover the electrical contacts. Some of the Pentax reproductions do not have flange but are straight edged and do not cover the contacts. That is fine for the older lenses but for any of the modern ones is something to think about in looking at the ones online.

Yeah, I can't bring myself to use caps that don't cover the contacts. The cheapies I listed above cover the electrical contacts. They are indistinguishable in every way from current genuine Pentax caps. That's all I use now.

So I guess when a seller on the PF marketplace says that a lens comes with an OEM rear cap, we'd have to take them at their word because it might actually be too hard to verify whether the cap is authentic Pentax-made or a cheap Chinese counterfeit/knock-off, right? It's one thing for people to be able to figure out the difference between a lens hood made in China compared to a genuine Pentax lens hood (e.g., how well it clicks into place and maybe the quality of the construction), but it's much harder to tell apart a small piece of plastic like a rear lens cap...
