Once in the 80s I cleaned the lenses on a low end Tokina teleconverter with isopropyl alcohol and watched the coating come off. Some of it came off in little specks as in your photo. SInce then I never use alcohol or an alcohol based cleaner on any of my coated lenses. I'll use lens cleaning solutions without alcohol or ammonia from optics manufacturers or distilled water and a dab of Ivory soap.
So is there any specific solution would you suggest/ be using?

@ steve: I am kind of thinking its not fungus because its not there before I use the solution.
@ ramsey: After it happened, I did spray a lot of the solution on to the lens and let it sit there for a couple minutes but still.
Has any one use Purposol or Zeiss solution on a vintage lens? Is everything fine? As I notice, it happens to some of my other lenses too.
