I use the sigma because a few years ago I broke the tripod collar on my FA*200mm f/4 ED Macro - I also bought it because I was curious about how it compares to the pentax lens...and I was offered a price for it no-one in their right mind would refuse.

Same here. I asked your advice Digitalis before buying mine, and still think it was a good deal. And since there are no FA200macros available, this is the best I found in K-mount at my preferred focal length.
