have there been any MIJ versions of the Ltd 15 or 21 lenses?

Don't think they've produced (m)any lenses outside of Vietnam since the Digital Era. Perhaps an anomaly exists though?(Doubt it)

I didn't think there was any Difference in IQ between MIJ and MIV for Ltd's from what I've read ? as i understand it the parts are still MIJ as the Pentax have R&D is still in Japan and only parts are assembled in Vietnam , my Da15 Ltd copy is excellent.

Agreed - few of us have complaints about our DA15 Ltds, and I believe they're all AIV.
