Everything is the same as the first one, from packing to lens hood. Except that the box is brown in color. Really it is a steal! Funnily the lens is even more contrasty than the previous version..... hmm, sharp corners at f8, contrasty, cheaper,... can't complain

So it did come with a box? Or you meant a post office brown box? Did you get it from Singapore?

I hope my copy will be sharp as well.. Fingers crossed!

Picture everything is the same as the original Pentax DA18-135, but instead of a printed box, it is a brown one. Yup, from Singapore, we local proudly pay extra 7% sales tax to fund the top 20 most expensive politicians in the universe.

7% isn't too bad. Although it has risen from 3% to 7% in the past 10 years right?

Love the Singapore dealer's price. Great bargain. Although I noticed not everything was cheaper than other countries. But it seems the camera bodies and lenses have decent prices.

We pay 13% here, and even if I order from there they will get their 13% from fedex, who will charge me for the priviledge of paying it a fee that is usurious at best

Buddy your health care system is superior than ours. Over here we have to earn our keep and the retirement age is going to be abolished. Another world first?

our retirement age just went up to 67, so much for the freedom 55 they were flogging a decade ago
the way the cutoff for the change happened means my wife will retire 8 years before me
I'm sure our current group of right wing fools in Ottawa would love to eliminate retirement and health care

When it comes to politics, I suppose the paradox of the truth is that the most cunning and slippery scum rise to the top. And what do we expect from scum? These guys are there to serve, the question is to serve who. Okay let's stop talking about depressing subject.

Some random shots from the 2 days old 18-135;
