FA 70-210mm f/4 focus issues

FA 70-210mm f/4 focus issues with a K20D
does not seem to focus on anything more than 20ft away with 150mm or longer zoom...
help please

I take it you mean the F 70-210 F4-5.6?

Does the focusing ring seem stuck at all? If you can't manually focus it, then it's likely that there's either a mechanical or an optical failure somewhere.
